To work with mesenchymal stem cells, it is necessary to use the method of cultivation or replicating cells outside the body, but it is very important not to impair cell properties, so this work requires high qualification of laboratory specialists and must be performed under sterile conditions. To ensure these requirements, the cellular product for both long-term cryogenic storage and for therapeutic use must be produced in accordance with GMP standards. GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is a system of rules, regulations and guidelines for the production of medicines, medical devices, diagnostic products, food, food additives and active ingredients. One of the key requirements for working at such high standards is the creation and equipping of a so-called "clean room", a laboratory in which adjusted level of cleanliness will be maintained and controlled, and this, in turn, will prevent the contamination of the cellular material.
Therefore, the GMP laboratory was opened to ensure appropriate conditions for working with cells.
