Education:
In 2005, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Latvia and obtained a doctor's degree. In 2010, he completed a full study programme “Residency in Medicine”, obtaining a degree in genetics. In 2013, he graduated from Riga Stradins University Doctoral studies in medicine. In 2014, he completed a full study programme “Residency in Medicine”, obtaining the qualification of an immunologist.

Dr. Dzalbs regularly participates in local and international scientific conferences and seminars related to the fields of genetics and immunology.
